Paul van Eeden, B.Sc.

Chairman of the Board
Paul van Eeden is the President of Cranberry Capital Inc., the Executive Chairman of Synodon Inc., and a director of Evrim Resources Corp., Kobex Capital Corp., Student Car Share Inc. and C3 Alliance Corp. Paul started his business career in 1985 and has been involved in public capital markets since 1995, first as a broker and later as an investor. Paul has a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and is known for his research on gold pricing models and monetary inflation.

Paddy Nicol, MBA

President, CEO & Director
Paddy has over 15 years' experience in public company management serving on the boards of Abacus Mining Corp., Redstar Gold Corp., Niblack Mining Corp., Cobre Exploration Ltd., and Spanish Mountain Gold. Most recently he was the President and CEO of Niblack Mining Corp. which successfully merged with Committee Bay Resources in 2008. During his tenure, Paddy developed an extensive network of contacts throughout the institutional and retail investment community. Paddy holds an MBA in management consulting from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.

David Caulfield, P. Geo.

David, a co-founder of Rimfire Minerals Corporation (now Kiska Metals), plays an integral role in building the business through its strategic partnerships. Prior to Rimfire, he was the co-founder and President of Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd., a privately held geological consulting firm. David served as the 2005 President of the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia (AME BC), a non-profit association that advocates a healthy and environmentally sound exploration and mining sector in British Columbia.

John F.H. Thompson, Ph.D.

Dr. Thompson has a BA from Oxford University and a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. In 1982, he joined the BP Minerals group (Rio Tinto) in Australia, followed by positions in the UK and Utah. In 1991, John became Director of the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU) at the University of British Columbia, managing exploration-related research for over twenty companies. He returned to industry in 1998 as Chief Geoscientist for Teck, and then Vice President Technology and Development. In the latter role he managed technology and innovation programs and was involved in corporate development, including resource and technology-related transactions. He left Teck in 2012 and is now the Principal of PetraScience Consultants, an exploration, development and technology consulting firm. He is also the Wold Professor of Environmental Balance for Human Sustainability at Cornell University. John chairs the Board of Geoscience BC and is a board member of Genome BC. He was a founder of the Canada Mining Innovation Council and President of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG).

Stewart Harris, P. Geo.

VP Technical Services
Stewart Harris has over twenty-six years' experience in mineral exploration and has specialized in all aspects of exploration program development and management. This experience has been throughout the Canadian Cordillera and with substantial international experience in Central and South America and the Southwest Pacific Rim. His most recent position, before joining the company, was with Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. where he was responsible for exploration ranging from first-pass reconnaissance-scale exploration to resource definition drilling programs. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia and is also a Professional Geoscientist.

Charles Funk

VP New Opportunities and Exploration
Charles is a geologist/geophysicist with 11 years of industry experience in project evaluation and gold/copper exploration. He joins Evrim from Newcrest Mining in Australia where he was responsible for entering new projects in the Americas. Prior to this he worked for OZ Minerals/Oxiana and was part of the Ankata and Khamsin Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) discoveries in South Australia. He has a wide range of experience in porphyry, epithermal and IOCG deposits in the both North and South America and the Asia-Pacific region. Charles has a degree in Space Science from La Trobe University and an honours degree in Earth Science from the University of Melbourne.

Mahesh Liyanage, CA

Chief Financial Officer
Mahesh Liyanage is a Chartered Accountant (member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC) with more than 15 years' experience across diverse industries. For the past five years, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer for several exploration companies. Prior to that, he controlled audit and assurance functions for a public accounting company.
